Ugo?

I think this one has gig written all over it... maybe use a tennis ball painted black inside the cloth instead of the rock... and the cudgel could just be a 1/2 dowel rod???

Siege of Muenster by Waldeck against the Anabaptists 1534-35

Display cages in Muenster... In 1534-35 the Anabaptists took over Muenster. Waldeck raised an army and captured the town after a lengthy siege. Story goes when Waldeck asked the leader Jahn van Leiden during his trial how he should repay the costs of the siege and battle Jahn said stick me and the other two leaders in cages and charge a penny to all who come and see. In 1536 Jahn and two other leaders had the flesh removed from their bodies with hot pincers and their hearts pierced with red hot pokers. The remains were placed in the cages and hoisted up the side of the church tower... As late as 1585 some remains were still visible. The cages are still in place.

Marignano Sept 13-14 1515 painted by Maître de la Ratière?

ok, so here is my best drawing of the oven from Castle Auerbach... noted it is not historically correct... but then again neither is propane...

ok, if you squint real hard you can see the oven in the courtyard... its white and has a black roof. I will look for better pictures and something to scan my crude hand drawings. btw Schloss Auerbach about 20km from where I once lived in Kolmbach, Hessen
